A general class of integrable nonlinear multi-component wave equations are discussed to show that integrability, as implied by Lax pair, does not necessarily imply solvability of the initial value problem by spectral methods. A simple instance of this class, with applicative relevance to nonlinear optics, is discussed as a prototype model. Conservation laws and special solutions of this model are displayed to underline the integrability issue.
可逆系 (あるいは反転可能系，英語では reversible system) と呼ばれる 常微分方程式系では，しばしば対称周期軌道の 1 パラメータ族が存在する． 本講演では，可逆系の対称周期軌道族からの分岐を取りあげ，分数調波軌道 の発生に対する単純な条件を与え，特異な分岐現象が起こることを明かにする． また，一般化された Henon-Heiles系に対する適用例を与える．
結び目理論における領域交差交換の研究結果を応用して, 2011年に領域選択ゲーム (Region Select) というパズルゲームが開発されました. このゲームはスマートフォンのゲームアプリにもなっています. 本講演では領域選択ゲームがどのようにして出来たか, また, 「必ず解ける」ゲームであるということを解説します. さらにゲームの攻略法や様々な応用の可能性について説明します. また, 関連ゲームである領域点灯ゲーム, およびスイッチングシステムも紹介します. （領域選択ゲーム, 領域点灯ゲームおよびこのスイッチは, 河内明夫教授, 岸本健吾氏との共同発明であり特許出願中です.)
The stability analysis for a class of large-scale stochastic delay systems is discussed. After introducing practical control systems, the considered stability problem is given. Sufficient conditions for the existence of stabilizing controllers are given in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). It is also shown that the decentralized feedback controllers can be obtained by solving the LMI. In order to demonstrate the efficiency of our obtained result, a few simulation examples are given.
